This is a great gift idea and very unique. It's a little hard to read and the cross is a little small but it still will make a great gift. I love the saying on the cross.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I pictured this to be thicker and gold guilt looking. It looked like gold plate and was exactly what I wanted. There was a nice flat space on the back where I had engraving put on it to make it more personal.
