Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
It is said that "Every Mom is a Working Mom" and, today more than ever, that is the truth! The real challenge is finding balance. Our faith teaches us that balance, but few have been, heretofore, tuned in. Now, Kimberly Hahn, inspired by the book by Holly Pierlot, gives us an in depth scriptual analysis of Holly's profound insights regarding the five priorities of motherhood - Prayer, Person, Partner, Parent and Provider. It has been truly enlightening and has provided great hope, even for a mother who has come to it after many years of raising children. The whole series was absolutely practical. From Biblical references to a bibliography of fascinating and helpful reading on the topics that are of real interests to mothers, there seemed nothing that I could set aside. This is the quintessential self-help guide for Christian Moms that I have been praying for. As a busy Mom, myself, I loved the format that enabled me to listen in the car... doing carpool, running errands or en route to work. I could pause it for further reflection - or the usual interruptions - and pick right back up from where I left off. I would have loved to have had included, perhaps in an accompanying booklet, the handouts she referenced, but her verbal references to them were often descript enough to get the gist of their content. Overall, a five-star product! |
