St. Hubert
Saint Hubert is the patron of hunting, dogs, opticians, smelters, and mathematicians. He was an avid hunter and one Good Friday, while hunting, he experienced a vision of a crucifix between the antlers of a stag. This conversion experience led him to renounce all of his worldly possessions and join the priesthood. St. Hubert then devoted himself to evangelizing the Ardenne region by converting pagans and strengthening the Christian presence. He was successful at predicting his death and died while saying the Our Father. St. Hubert's feast day is November 3rd.
