St. Lazarus
Saint Lazarus is the patron of lepers and the Order of Saint Lazarus. He is the leper mentioned in the Gospels by Christ. The Order of Lazarus was founded in the 12th century as a militant order compiled of lepers. They are noted for having found a hospital for lepers near the northern wall of Jerusalem. St. Lazarus's feast day is June 12th.
