The Autobiography of St. Teresa of Avila is very helpful to those who are trying to lead a life of prayer. It has helped me tremendously to understand the Lord better especially the ways of the Holy Spirit. The Lord gave St. Teresa many gifts in her earthly life and this book can help someone to understand the gifts of the Holy Spirit. St. Teresa is a great teacher and shows us how to be friends with the Lord. It is written simply for all to understand. I highly recommend this book for those who want to have a better understanding on how one becomes a saint.
