Product Description

Experience for yourself the Way of the Cross that Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger — now Pope Benedict XVI — wrote for this time-honored devotion held on Good Friday at Rome’s Colosseum. Each station begins with a verse from Scripture about Christ's Passion. Next, Pope Benedict gives a short meditation on the Station, followed by a short prayer. The Our Father is prayed and then the verses of the Stabat Mater can be recited or sung. Perfect for individual or group prayer. The book is filled with beautiful full color illustrations to aid your reflection.

Pray through the mystery of salvation with Pope Benedict XVI. This beautifully illustrated book has 14 full-color art pieces by Dutch Symbolist painter Jan Toorop from the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Netherlands.

Designed to be a companion to best-selling John Paul II - A Marian Treasury.

Pope Benedict XVI leads you through the stations of the cross. I bought this for use during lent. It is a great book for individual use or as the lead along with the group pamphlets (sold seperately). Each station has the prayer, a gospel verse reflexion and meditation. It is a must have for those who want to get more out of their prayer activity.

Beautiful version of the Way of the Cross both in art and meditations of each station. For a while I could only find this "over seas". I am happy that Catholic Company now carries it directly. I have bought several to share with others.
