Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I use it everyday. The only thing is that to find each Book to get to the chapters and versus quite difficult. But it is really good.

This bible provides me with easy to read texts in both English and Spanish. I like both translations because they use common use words rather than archaic or complex ones. And, since it is a parallel text its easy to go back and forth between the two. Great for the bi-lingual worship community. Since it is designed for reading this is no bible for students or scholars as it lacks commentary, dictionary, footnotes, and cross references but then again it makes sense to not have that in there. It would be good for someone learning either English or Spanish as a second language.
