Blessed Pope John Paul reigned as pope in the Catholic Church for less than forty days which makes his pontificate one of the shortest in papal history. He is remembered for his warmth. Gentleness, and orator skills as a pope. Blessed Pope John Paul was the first modern pope to use “I” instead of the royal “we.” Furthermore, he was the first to abandon the Papal Coronation and to choose a double name.
