The Jerusalem Cross, an ornate 6" wall cross handcrafted from olive wood tree branches in Bethlehem, is a beautiful representation of preaching the Gospel to the four ends of the earth. The large cross represents Jerusalem and the four small crosses on the corners resemble the four ends of the earth. Also, the four small crosses along with the large cross remind us of the five wounds of Jesus on The Cross. Each piece of olive tree wood is unique and this variation of the natural wood grain makes each piece slightly different in color. I was looking for various different styles of crosses and this Olivewood Jerusalem Cross - 6 inch is now one of them. I am attempting to mark the East side walls of my home with crosses, just like the early christians.
