Father Patrick Peyton, known as the Rosary Priest, immigrated to the United States from Ireland at the age of 19. As a young child Fr. Peyton prayed the Rosary daily with his family. Upon completion of his studies for the priesthood Father Patrick Peyton was diagnosed with tuberculosis, however, made a miraculous recovery, despite medical predictions. In gratitude for this miracle Father Patrick Peyton began to tirelessly promote the Rosary, especially in family prayer, just as in his boyhood. Father Patrick Peyton began the Family Rosary Crusade, which later brought about the existence of Family Theater Productions, in Hollywood CA. With the immense success of his ministry, the message of Father Patrick Peyton soon began to spread, “The family that prays together, stays together.”
