The Revised Standard Version Bible is also known as the RSV Bible. The version of this Bible that is most widely used by Catholics is the Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition Bible (RSV-CE). This version of the Catholic Bible is also known as the Ignatius Bible since it is published by Ignatius Press. The Catholic version of the Revised Standard Version Bible includes commentary notes on each book as well as the seven Deuterocanonical books. The RSV-CE version of the Catholic Bible is the translation used by Scott Hahn and other associated authors who collaborate to write the popular Ignatius Catholic Study Bible series.
