Golf Bug(Michigan, July 23, 2011)
I purchased 2 of these Bibles for grandchildren on their First Communion. They were such a hit that when the next 2 grandchildren made their First Communion, I bought 2 more. Then one for my nephew. When the 5th grandchild asked their Mom if they were getting one on their First, I bought another along with one for my granddaughter who will be making her First next year. All the parents told me they all read it; in fact, one was caught after bedtime under the blanket with a flashlight. It is not a "kiddie" bible, which is why I think it is a wonderful gift for First Communions. I also had their names imprinted which makes them special, and all the kids point to that first when they open the gift. Best Uses: Gift; Describe Yourself: Bookworm; Pros: Easy To Understand, Great Pictures, Holds Kids Attention, Positive Message
I would buy this bible again.

This Bible was recommended by our Grandaughters First Communion teacher. It is a beautiful Bible. I am sure she will treasure it for years to come.

I gave this as a book to my nephew's daughter who's 7 going on 8 years old. I think it's a little advanced at this age; however, I'm sure she'll appreciate it in the near future.
A great gift idea
