Worthwile, but not really a group thing

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We purchased one copy for a group Bible study, hoping to use the questions in the back. The questions for understanding cannot be answered without reading the footnotes in many cases. This is fine for individual study, but for a group each person needs their own copy.
