This image is a beautiful and unique depiction of the Mother of God adoring her Son in the Eucharist. Displayed on a wall this image will be a constant reminder of the Bread of Life and the example of worship given by His Mother. The French painter, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres lived from 1780 to1867. The Madonna of the Host looks beautiful in both church and home. Framed in a solid wood gold frame with nonglare glass.

A most unique picture

Best Uses: Meditation and prayer aid
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This is one of the mose unusual portraits of Our Lady that I have ever seen. Jesus in the Eucharist, is in the foreground, and Mary in adoration, fills the background. The picture is even more striking in person. I gave this as a gift, then HAD to purchase one for my home.
