A site of pilgrimage since medieval times, Lough Derg is associated with many Irish Saints, including Patrick & Brigid, whose cross from an ancient carved stone on the island is incised on this font. Water forms an important part of the pilgrimage which involves a crossing by boat. From the Wild Goose Studio in Kinsale, Co. Cork, a group of skilled craft workers and designers bring us these unique handmade creations. Measures 7" x 4". Made of a resin and ceramic core with a bronze finish, has a hole on the back for hanging.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I shopped around for Holy Water Fonts for our home and my office for many months. I was looking for something that was simple and captured the beauty of Catholicism - this font certainly does that! It looks fantastic in our doorways at home and in my office. We love it and my family gets to renew our batismal vows many times each day - awesome!
