For each of the first 24 days of December, there is a 10-page minibook (including cover) that relates a Bible story, offers a special prayer or Psalm, or features an appropriate Christmas song. This unique Advent Calendar makes celebrating Advent at school or at home truly meaningful. Click on the image to see more details.

From "The Creation" to "The Birth of Jesus," each timeless Bible story comes to life in simple words and vivid, full-color illustrations. And along with the mini Bible story books are little books of praise in prayer and song that will bring you closer to the birth of the Christ Child.

I bought this to start teaching my 2 and 4 year old about the Advent season and it is a wonderful product. The kids love to look at the mini-books and I know this will come in handy for many years to come with the true meaning of Christmas.

This Advent item is great that is offers something to look forward to all children, who can enjoy the daily count down to Christmas with a special mini bible story and then take the daily item and place it on the tree. It can be used over and over each year vs. products where the gift is taken each day and unable to be re used. I also like that it does not involve candy, but reflects on the true meaning of Christmas.
