Excellent display pieces |

Have been looking for several years. The gifts of the wise men are more meaningful when the students can touch, see and smell the fragrances. The wooden boxes secure the gifts and can be used for years to come. Well worth the investment.

Our family receives gifts from the Magi every year at Epiphany, usually gold-wrapped chocolate coins, a candle, and simmering potpouri. This year, I discovered this gift set. HOW BEAUTIFUL! Even the cardboard box it came in is pretty. Also included is a detailed description of each "gift" and its signifigance. Very interesting. The ONLY con is that if you empty the frankincense and myrrh into the satin lined boxes, I'm afraid it may ruin the lining. I wish I'd have found this when my children were younger. Still, this is definitely an heirloom.

I got this set for my 3 girls. One for each. They really liked the boxes. The 2 younger ones really liked the incense and the oldest thought that the gold was cool. It also gave me a good chance to teach them about the Christmas story.

As a teacher for first graders on a weekly basis, the children were excited when able to see and touch samples of the very items that the Three Wise Men brought to the Baby Jesus 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem. Although this purchase is just a small sample of the three gifts, with minature cases, it served its purpose and made the bible story more real for these little ones.

I love this set. I was able to share it with my preschool children. It made the Christmas story very real to them because they were able to see the 3 "strange" gifts that Jesus received. The boxes are beautiful. I love this treasure!

I loved these. One of the clasps on one of my boxes was slightly flawed, and they could be a little cheaper, but I loved these, so I splurged. They looked great next to my Nativity, and I know they'll last for years to come; I don't use the clasp anyway, so it didn't matter too much to me.
