| Fr. Pacwa explores the causes behind the recent tensions between Muslims and Christians, delving into the history of Islam and offering a brief glimpse into the life of Mohammed and the authorship of the Koran. With a keen insight into the different movements and sects within Islam, Fr. Pacwa offers an informed explanation for the current state of Muslim/Christian relations. Fr. Mitchell Pacwa, S.J. received his B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Detroit, summa cum laude. He received his Master of Divinity and S.T.B. from the Jesuit School of Theology of Loyola University, magna cum laude. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 1976 and then continued his studies, receiving a Ph.D. in Old Testament from Vanderbilt University in 1984. He has taught at the High School, University and Seminary levels. He has lectured at conferences and churches around the world and has appeared and hosted hundreds of international radio and television programs. His fluency in twelve languages and his extensive travels throughout the Middle East have afforded him a unique understanding of the peoples and cultures of the Middle East. In the year 2000, he established Ignatius Productions in order to further promote the Gospel through multi-media teaching presentations. |
