The Celtic birds coasters are a perfect accent to any decor. Birds were considered by the ancient Celts to be sacred messengers from the other world. The mythological birds were said to aid mortals on their spiritual and earthly journeys. The set of vibrantly colored coasters were inspired by the Celtic bird illustrations in the ancient Celtic manuscript, the Book of Kells. Coaster set is ceramic. They are hand painted with a crackle-glazed finish. The set includes four different Celtic bird coaster designs. Each coaster measures approximately 3" x 3" and is finished with a cork base.
