The Cross of Clonmacnoise, or also known as the Cross of the Scriptures, Clonmacnoise is a monastic site overlooking the River Shannon in County Offaly. The extensive ruins include a cathedral, castle, round tower, numerous churches, two important high crosses, and a large collection of early Christian grave slabsfounded. Founded in 548AD by St. Garan.
This cross is handcrafted in Ireland using 5000 year-old Irish peat from some of Ireland's oldest bog lands. The unique antique brown finish highlights every detail of the ancient Celtic designs.
