This gorgeous gold necklace contains the four gospel authors each featured in a traditional symbolic fashion. Matthew appears as an angel, Mark as a Lion, Luke as an oxen calf and John as an Eagle. This ties into ancient depictions the four evangelists being connected to the four living creatures of the Apocalypse. 24 inch chain. Gift box included. This product is made in the United States and is Triple Plated in 14K Gold or Sterling Silver. The clear stones of the cross are made of European Glass. From the Vatican Library Collection. The medal measures approximately 1.25" in diameter.

I love this necklace. It is long and sometime you don't get that in a necklace. The chain is beautiful and the medallion is just beautiful. I have had many complements on it every time I wear it. It is stunning against a dark fabric.
