Product Description

This beautiful dual tone rosary box has a silver rendition of the crucifixion scene with Jesus in raised-relief and Mary, Mary Magdalene and soldiers in bass-relief; enclosed by raised relief gold rosaries. Engraved within the box and under the lid a long portion of the Petition to our Lady of the rosary Of Pompeii is engraved. Measures 3 1/8 inches by 2 1/4 inches by 1 inch. Inside measures 1 7/8 inches by 2 3/8 inches by 1/2 inch. This product is made in the United States and is Triple Plated in 14K Gold and Sterling Silver. From the Vatican Library Collection.

Beautiful but Be Careful 3.00 out of 5

Pros: Rosary Box Jewelry Box; Heavy Metal Sturdy;
Cons: Too small for my rosary; Had to glue Jesus back on; Crucifix plate fell off;
Best Uses: Larger items; Hold rings too small for; Too small for rosary;
Bottom Line:
I bought this box thinking I could store my rosary in it. Although the box is beautiful, it was too small to hold my rosary. Although the box is metal and seems sturdy, the Crucifix Plate on the cover fell off. I dropped the box onto a carpeted floor, not a hard floor, and the plate came off the cover. Its only glued on. I had to glue it back on.
