Our customers responded to the call last year and your contributions have been felt throughout the world! The poor in the Philippines, Africa, Haiti, India, Jamaica, and the United States are learning the Catholic Faith through the Penny Catechisms you helped send to them during our first Missionaries of the Poor support drive last summer.

In a world where the Catholic Church is persecuted all the time, even the poor in third world countries are not immune against attacks. We've heard from the Missionaries of the Poor that Archbishops in these countries have seen the positive impact the Penny Catechisms have had in their communities. Children and adults who would otherwise have no access to parish life are learning the Catholic Faith.

The Missionaries of the Poor monastic order continues to flourish both overseas and in a new mission in Monroe, NC. Father Richard Ho Lung, the order's founder, has once again asked for help to not only provide support for evangelizing the poor, but also for educating the men who have answered God's call to join this amazing religious order. The brothers rely on generous support from the public to operate their missions throughout the world.
