The early history of pewter in Ireland goes back at least 800 years and was revived by Mullingar Pewter in 1974. Most pieces are created in a workshop with Irish men and women trained in the
old casting methods with meticulous assembly and delicate hand finishing.

Set of four pewter chalices, depicting each of the symbols of the four Evangelists - Matthew "The
Man", Mark "The Lion", Luke "The Ox", and John "The Eagle". Each goblet measures 5"H, and
has three of the same image around the goblet. From the famous Mullingar Pewter studio in Westmeath County, Ireland.
