The Maria G First Communion Gown is an off the shoulder organza A-line vertically sewn panel dress, adorned with beaded lace appliqué that cascades down the front of the bodice flowing to the left hip. Being an A-line dress, this communion gown has a very flattering silhouette for any body type. The entire gown is lined with a soft slip lining. It also contains a touch of tulle between the layers for some lift in the skirt area. Approximately 2 inch wide, off the shoulder sleevettes will hug your girl’s shoulders as the approximately ½ inch straps will hold the dress on her collar bone. This purchase was a Christmas gift for my grand daughter. She will be receiving her First Holy Communion this spring. I thought this dress would be a perfect gift and I was absolutely correct. The expression on her face as she opened the box and saw the communion dress was worth the time and effort in purchasing it and at an "affordable price!" She said, "Boy, do I have a story for my teacher!" She immediately tried it on and it fit perfectly plus she looked stunning in it! She felt she was in a dream and went to heaven! We purchased this dress for our daughters 1st Communion coming this next Spring. We love the elegant but simple look that won't take away from the sacrament or from our daughter herself. Found this dress for less than half of other stores online. We'll be purchasing again from The Catholic Company. |
