I bought this Bible for each of my Godsons' First Communions. Personalized with gilt lettering on the front cover, it is a beautiful gift. The special sections explaining the Sacrifice of the Mass and the Sacraments are especially helpful. The use of the New American Bible translation and the Calendar of Readings in the front of the book make it easy to read the scriptures assigned to each Mass. The "red letter" style of the Gospels is also helpful for someone seeking out Jesus' words. Finally, the profiles of Patron Saints associated with First Communicants and the Communion prayers put a nice focus on the Eucharist.
