Received it and like it

By: MK (Saratoga NY, April 29, 2011)
Pros: Perfect Size; Great to hold mementos; Great gift for girls;
Cons: Ribbon is a bit weak;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
Recieved this as a gift for my daughter and liked it so much that I purchased it for my neice. It is the perfect size to hold cards and other mementos from this special occassion. Great for Mom's to stay organized and a unique gift for your First Communion Girl to treasure memories from her special day.

The box pictured is not what I received

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
My son had received this First Communion box as a gift last year and I wanted to get the same one for my niece this year. However,the item I received was an actual box in which all sacramental items were to be kept; baptism, first communion, and confirmation. It was well received and it is also a wonderful concept. Can't say I was disappointed, just perplexed.

Nice, but would not buy again

Cons: Low Quality; Bad Value;
Bottom Line:
On the day after my daughter's First Communion, we placed items in the box and prepared to tie it shut with the pretty gold ribbon. With the first tug, the ribbon came free from the cover of the box, and now I cannot close the box with the ribbon. Although I liked the idea of a keepsake box that looks like a book, I will not get this same item for my son's First Communion.
