This First Communion wood Crucifix is an excellent way to mark your First Communion day. The wooden crucifix holds a pewter corpus, behind which rests a pewter medallion. The pewter medallion is set into the center of the First Communion wood Crucifix and is decorated with the image of a chalice and host around which reads, “In Remembrance of my First Holy Communion.” At the top of the First Communion wood Crucifix is nailed the pewter sign holding the letters, “INRI.” Attached to the First Communion wood Crucifix is a hook for easy hanging.
I purchased the crucifix for my grandson's First Holy Communion. It is what I expected and did have it engraved so he can keep it and cherish this memory. I have not given it to him yet, but feel confident that he will like it.

My son loved this cross that we gave him for his 1st communion gift. A perfect item for him to remember his special day! Best Uses: 1st Communion gift; Pros: Great Quality
A great first communion gift

Our granddaughter hung this in her bedroom and says her nightly prayres in front of it.
How much better is this than a monetary gift and other rediculous gifts we sometimes give for special religious events.
