Pros: Well Written; Informative; Deserves Multiple Readings; Page-Turner;
Describe Yourself: Everyday Reader;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I used this book for devotional reading while at Adoration during Lent. I had not been familiar with this particular saint, and Ms. Mathewes-Green's comments did an excellent job of placing him in historical perspective and explaining references unfamiliar to most readers.
