|Review:||I have read, and probably not understood several books on spirituality, but this one truly leads one through this journey as it shows in detail how we progress, how we fail, and how to identify strngths and weaknesses in our journey to God. The book makes pursuing perfection not only possible, but attainable. |Review:||I have read, and tried to follow, many essays on "deep prayer." This is by far the easiest to understand, follow, and use. I have already made an additional purchase as a gift. This is a book I refer to daily. My only negative is with the binding of the book; it is so tight I have difficulty reading it while holding it in one hand. Best Uses: Gift, Older Readers, Reference; Describe Yourself: Everyday Reader; Pros: Deserves Multiple Readings, Easy To Read, Informative, Well Written|

|Review:||Ralph Martin has produced a great book for Catholics who seek to improve their relationship with God. It is full of the wisdom of the saints who mastered, so much more than most of us, the path to Spiritual perfection.
