This beautiful Holy Communion Frame for Girls makes a wonderful Communion gift for that special day.  This First Communion photo frame is handcrafted in Ireland and made of authentic Irish pewter.  The early history of Irish pewter goes back at least 800 years. The early pewterers of this era produced the first utensils for domestic use. Around the 12th century, pewter was only within the reach of the wealthy, where it was found on the tables in castle halls and in the houses of rich merchants. The ancient craft of pewter making was revived in the 1970's. This Holy Communion Frame for Girls was handcrafted in an Irish workshop by artisans who are specially trained in the old casting methods, and it was delicately finished by hand.
