Product Description

Gold plated red dove (Holy Spirit) small polished hanging cross

Our Small polished wall hanging crosses measure 4" high. They are carved from beautiful Jerusalem Stone quarried in the Holy Land and handcrafted in the USA. All of our crucifixes and crosses come in a gift bag with a certificate of authenticity/giftcard.

History of the Stone:
Jerusalem Stone is a limestone material found in the areas between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, and between Galilee and Haifa. This stone was excavated by the Israelites as early as 1000 to 2000 B.C, and used to construct such historical, religious sites as the “City of Jerusalem” and “King Solomon’s Temple”. Today this treasured stone is used in all modern construction within the city of Jerusalem.

Great Confirmation Gift 5.00 out of 5

By: A Confirmation Sponsor (Burnsville, MN, April 2, 2011) Verified Buyer
Pros: Beautiful; Commemorative;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I gave this cross as a Confirmation gift, to serve as a reminder of Jesus' earthly ministry (as suggested in the product reference card). The cross arrived as advertised, polished and beautiful. It is at once simple and profound, a piece of stone from the area where Jesus walked the earth and gave us his teachings to guide us always. It is a token that may encourage those who see it to consider life as their own journey of faith. May it bring some peace, and encourage thought, wisdom, and further spiritual knowledge for those who view it. It's up to us to acknowledge and live according to Jesus' Word, and this is a most fitting reminder that Jesus came into this world and dwelt among us, and we should reflect upon and cherish this teaching in our own lives.
