    This map book is the only one I have found that has the modern-day map of biblical times then turn the page for a clear transparencie which allows you to see the same map how it looked in Biblical times. It really helps the perspective when studying the bible. The maps are so clear and colorful with more detail then I expected. The book also contains time lines of both the Old and New Testaments, Fascinating facts, St. Pauls travels and more.

    I love this product! I had just been wishing there was a map out there that would show me where all of the areas mentioned in the bible with biblical names of cities and countries were located and to have a reference that would show me the same places with their present day names of cities and countries. Many names of cities and country names and boundaries have changed. This product is it! It covers everything that happened in the Old Testament through the New Testament. With the film overlays, one can easily follow along with what is happening in the bible and where those locations would be occuring in present day areas. Thank you so much for coming up with this book! I recommend it for everyone! There should be one in each household and in libraries everywhere.

    I am reading the bible using The Catholic Company's "How to Read the Bible Every Day" and found myself wondering about the geographic areas described and how they related to modern times. Then I saw this guide in the catalog and it is an excellent reference if you are curious about this and don't want to spend the time looking it up. It's done for you!
