Hilaire Belloc

Hilaire Belloc was a French born writer who later in life became a naturalized British subject. Hilaire Belloc’s literary works have often been compared to that of G.K. Chesterton and are known for their strong Roman Catholic undertone. Early on in life Hilaire Belloc fell away from the Catholic faith and then later experienced a personal spiritual event, which reacquainted him with the Church more devoutly than ever.
