Product Description

The Gospels all testify that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified on Golgotha, a Hebrew word meaning "the Place of the Skull"—or Calvaria, in Latin. It was on this hill of Calvary, just outside Jerusalem, that Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, as He was scourged, crowned with thorns, crucified, and pierced through the heart for our salvation. The sinless Son of God gave up His life out of love for us, that each of us might be saved from death and find forgiveness and a new life in Him.

Inspired by this ultimate act of love, we have created the Calvary Crucifix Collection. The 10" resin crucifix features a dove, representing the Holy Spirit, hovering over Christ. The crucifix comes packed in a signature Milagros gift box and is ready for gift giving.

The crucifix is very beautiful and an appropriate gift for a confirmand. I did, however, remove the "Made in China" label.

Best Uses: great gift;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
My wife and I sponsor Catholic couples preparing for Marriage, and give each of them a Crucifix for their home as a wedding present. We chose this particular one for a couple who had been away from the Church for basically all of their engagement. It's not as "traditional" as some others, maybe seems "kinder and gentler" to ease them back into the Faith!
