Based on the Revised Standard Version - Catholic Edition, this fourth volume in the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible series leads readers through a penetrating study of the Book of Acts, using the biblical text itself and the Church's own guidelines for understanding the Bible. Ample notes accompany each page, providing fresh insights by renowned Bible teachers Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch, as well as time-tested interpretations from the Fathers of the Church. These helpful study notes make explicit what Acts often assumes. They provide rich historical, cultural, or theological information pertinent to the Gospel.

|Review:||We purchased one copy for a group Bible study, hoping to use the questions in the back. The questions for understanding cannot be answered without reading the footnotes in many cases. This is fine for individual study, but for a group each person needs their own copy. Best Uses: Individual study; Pros: Good footnotes, Insightfully questions|

|Review:||I used this in the Act Study set lead by Jeff Cavins and Sara Christmyer. The notes were better than my old Revised Version Bible or New American Bible Revised Standard Edition. I found that most of what Jeff Cavins presented in his video was in the notes in this Study. Not prefect but the best I have seen. Best Uses: Study; Cons: Footnote locations; Pros: Details, Notes, Study|
