This little gem of a book has rekindled my devotion to the Rosary and I take it with me wherever I go. It is so convenient to be able to start and stop if necessary without ever losing my place. I love my rosary beads but my prayer life is all the better since purchasing The Illustrated Rosary because it gently encourages me to give more time to the mysteries as I pray page by page.

Let me tell you why The Illustrated Rosary, Page by Page and Bead by Bead is a great resource for everyone, all ages to enjoy and feel comfortable with praying the rosary. It enables ease of use, turning a page at a time to mark your location in case of interruption. It's small and easily portable. I have purchased several of these great little books for those I love of all different ages. I've given it as a First Communion gift, purchased one for myself and most importantly, I gave one to my Father who loves his prayers and prayer cards. He has a beautiful devotion to his Catholic faith life and is a creature of habit and routine. He loves this book as it enables him to enjoy the rosary and the ability to put it down to answer the phone, the door, make a quick needed stop to the bathroom, or put it down for mealtime or even take it with him for his frequent hospital visits. The spiral binding allows you to never lose your place. I gave him one from the first printing and have updated it with the new and beautifully illustrated and scriptural printing. I've also purchased and given this little book to my Godmother who has Alzheimer's and is living in a specialized nursing home. She too loves her prayers and this helps her to remember what she can no longer remember on her own, bringing her a comforting familiarity. I mentioned portability; I like to keep mine in my purse. I've been saying the rosary since I was a little girl, but never remember all the mysteries well enough to focus my reflections – I highly recommend this book for someone you love and even yourself.

Perfect for those new to the Rosary. 4.00 out of 5

Pros: Page-Turner; Well Written; Easy To Read;
Describe Yourself: Bookworm;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
They are not kidding. Each Hail Mary of each decade is repeated on an additional page. For someone who is trying to figure out how to pray a Rosary on their own. It's perfect. It's too basic for even those with just a little experience. It's very pretty and the pages lie flat.

Great way to teach children the Mysteries. The child must be able to read and the outline is a little confusing but overall beautiful, little helper.
