Edited by Harold C. Gardiner, S.J. Written five centuries ago by a humble monk, this timeless message of faith in Christ's teachings remains a vital source of spiritual strength for people seeking to follow in the footsteps of the Lord.
This book is an excellent teaching in what it really means to follow Christ. To be a true Christian, one must become a true Christ-follower. It is not just "accepting Christ" as though we are doing Him a favor. It is, as Jesus said, obeying Him and following after His ways and teachings. We do not come to Christ to get rich; we come to Christ to receive salvation and accept Him by obeying His Word. We give up our carnal desires by putting our flesh nature in subjection to His rule, Will and Sovereign Reign because we trust Him unconditionally that He is able to not only save us, but trust that He is good, His intentions towards us is, and always will be, good. Thus, in this loving relationship with Him, we follow after Him with praise and thanksgiving for all the good He favors us with. Amen.
