Not as I had expected

Cons: Very dark colors; Can't hold alot of water; Would not give as a gift; Not the same as online; Face too small narrow; Face doesn't fit the rest;

I already have a beautiful holy water font, but after reading the review, and looking at the picture, I thought this would be nice to have or give as a gift. I admire the detailed craftmanship of this product; however, St. Mary's face, is too small, narrow, and too youthful looking for the elaborate font. St. Mary's facial features need to be fuller, and more softer looking, as seen in the picture given. Her face seems to look like plastic; unlike the rest of the font. The font's colors are very,very dark of which I did not expect either. Moreover, the font itself does not hold a lot of water whatsoever, which is another disappointment. The font needs to be re-fashioned as it only will hold about 1 to 2 teaspoons of water; of which if not careful when filling, the holy water spills out. The odd part about it, is that the water just stays in the center, and the sides are void of water, despite the font being cresent shaped.

This was a gift for my grandmother. She broke her other one and I was afraid she may not like something a little different. Hers was very old and I was not able to find the same one. She LOVES the new one and it is high quality. Good for the price as well.
