Immaculée Ilibagiza
Immaculee IIibagiza had her life transformed after huddling for 91 days with 7 other women in a crowded bathroom during the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. She taught herself English with only a Bible and a dictionary while in the bathroom. After being freed, she moved to the US and she wrote the story of her life, Left to Tell, which became an almost instant New York Times Best Seller. Today she is regarded by many as one of the leading speakers on the importance and power of peace, faith, and forgiveness.
