Inspirational Illuminations

Art prints inspired by The Book of Kells and other illuminated manuscripts. For centuries, monastic artists hand lettered, illuminated and painted books and scrolls on parchment. Celtic artist, Kevin Dillon, has rediscovered the medieval techniques used by these Irish monks. The artist's seal is imprinted in molten wax at the bottom of each piece, making every print a unique piece of art from the Celtic monastic tradition.
