Irish Carrickmacross lace is undoubtedly the finest and most delicate lacework in the world. The craft of making Carrickmacross Lace dates back to 1820. Carrickmacross Lace is hand sewn and has a subtle quality, which defies imitation, and will be a treasure to pass on to future generations.

This First Communion veil measures 34" x 34". The veil has a pattern of a ribbon forming into a bow and is surrounded by flowers and shamrocks. On each side is a cross, also surrounded by flowers. The veil does not come attached to a headpiece.
