This Irish Peat St. Patrick’s Cross measures 7 ½”x 2 ½” and is handcrafted in Ireland. Also known as a Carndonagh Cross, the name represents an early site founded by St. Patrick in the 7th Century. There are two adjoning carved pillar stones and the face of the crucifix reflects two figures with interlace patterns. The lower part contains a human figure between animals shown as a “biting head.”
