J.R.R. Tolkien was a devout Roman Catholic and successful high fantasy British writer. J.R.R. Tolkien manages to take his readers into the depths of the imagination with made up languages, places and characters yet still remains expressly Catholic in all his ideals and theories. The works of J.R.R. Tolkien have become literary classics and have even spawned feature films.
