Disappointed

By: Grandma of Six (Joliet, IL, April 12, 2012)
Pros: Explains parts of Mass;
Cons: Not for use at Mass; Reading level too high;
Best Uses: Reference;
Describe Yourself: Everyday Reader;
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
I expected this book to be appropriate to use during Mass to help younger children partcipate-like a missal. It would be fine to explain what goes on during Mass, but can't be used independently by a beginning reader.

A great teaching tool for every parent.

The mass book inspires questions about terms and rituals and provides answers as well.

PURCHASED AS EASTER GIFTS TO FIRST GRADE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS - OUR DAUGHTER ALREADY HAS ONE AND USES IT AT EVERY MASS TO FOLLOW ALONG. THIS IS A DEFINITE RECOMMEND FOR FIRST COMMUNION STUDENTS, FIRST THROUGH THIRD GRADERS, AND FOR PARENTS TO USE WITH THEIR CHILDREN TO GUIDE THEM THROUGH MASS.
