I bought 9 of these ornaments last year to give to my family to honor my father, who passed away 8 months prior to Christmas. Everyone loved them! The ornament itself is beautiful and very good quality. I especially liked that we could put our favorite picture of my dad in the ornament and that it came with a bookmark with the "Merry Christmas from Heaven" poem. They were also nicely packaged to give as a gift. My family and I all have the ornament prominently displayed in the front of our Christmas trees.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
I guess I will sound like a Scrooge, but it is a shame this is in a Catholic catalog. Our Faith teaches that we cannot know who is in Heaven, unless they have been declared a Saint by the Church. As much as we would like to believe Aunt Clara or Grandpa are with Jesus, we simply cannot know, and items like this could lull loved ones into complacency, so they might neglect praying for their loved ones' souls.
