The Gospels accounts written by Matthew, Mark, and Luke record Jesus using the example of a mustard seed while teaching with parables. Jesus says: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a person took and sowed in a field. It is the smallest of all seeds, yet when full grown it is the largest of plants." He also says, "Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

This pendant features a tiny mustard seed frames with 100% lead-free pewter that is rhodium plated. The pendant measures 1/2"H x 7/16"W and comes with a 20 inch cable chain.

I purchased the mustard seed cross necklace for my son's 1st Holy Communion. He treasures it. He loves having a cross to wear, but loves the parable of the faith of the mustard seed. It comes in a nice little box with the scripture included. It's a classic, for child or adult.
