Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I wanted to give an inexpensive gift along with the Cash gift we were giving, my two year old God Son after his Baptism. This was perfect "His very own first Bible", a very durable book, with pictures a child can understand, also large print for him to read in later years, and a story guide for Parents to read to him. We took a marker and wrote his name, Baptism date, and the God parent's names as well on the last page. As soon as he opened it, he was interested and was enjoying it. He should get many years of use and a perfect gift to start his Christian journey through life.
