This missal is the best I have seen. It needs to be updated with the recent liturgical changes and it would be useful if it included in the mass all the priest prayers. Friends who have seen it would love to have it when it is brought up to date, both in an English and Spanish version. The possibility of imprinting the owners name is a great option, particularly when given as a gift. If available before Christmas I would buy several. in both English and Spanish.

I was looking to replace my Mom's prayer book, which had fallen apart over the years. This one exceeded my expectations!! The leather cover is beautiful and the gold gilded pages are so nice. I love the size, it fits perfectly into any purse or pocket, but yet the writing is large enough to actually see! The colored pictures are lovely also!! I love it so much that I'm thinking of picking up a few more for gifts! You won't regret this purchase!

This was a birthday present for my mother. She loves is and reads it every night. It also prompted her to show me my great-great grandmother's prayer book from the 1880's. The new prayer book is amazing however the old one was slightly better.

I was given this book a couple of years ago and decided to get one for my daughter. So the content is full of useful prayers and resources. I treasure my own copy. However, two things were disappointing. First, unlike the one given to me, this came with no ribbon placemarks. Upon checking the description after receiving it, this site does NOT claim to have those. So my fault for not checking, but still a disappointment. Second, the personalization on the "leather" cover appears to be set by hand, and in my case a couple of letters clearly slipped in the process as they are not in a straight line. Finally, I would warn the potential buyer that this book includes the current Order of the Mass, which will be outdated in NOV 2011. That doesn't affect the rest of the content, but you may want to wait a year if that is important to you.

This will be a gift for my son at Easter Vigil as he enters the Catholic Church at the age of 29. I think this will be a beautiful and so appropriate gift for him. I would like to give another to my husband for Christmas. It's a beautifully bound, leather, embossed prayer book with color illustrations. A handy size to carry to Mass too and Adoration.

The quality of this little book is outstanding. The leather cover is outstanding as is the guilding. My complaint is that it doesn't have anywhere nearly as many prayes as I had hoped. It also has the more modern version of the Act of Contrition which I don't like much. The section on the Rosary doesn't mention the Fatima addition "Oh my Jesus, forgive...". It's just missing some prayers that I hoped it would have.
