This was a terrific First Communion gift. It brought a lot of smiles to the receiver. As the gift givers, we only wish the engraving was higher quality. The cost of the engraving did not reflect the quality. It was already peeling off when we gave the gift.

My godchild was so happy to get an adult looking bible that was engraved , although the engraving was poorly done and one letter was not all gilded. I was very disappointed that a Bible for a seven year old had no pictures! The thin pages made it hard for me too read because the print from the previous page showed through. Also the red lettering for Jesus' words was dull, not vibrant as I have seen in other bibles.

I like the First Communion dedication in the front section as well as all the traditional prayers and mysteries of the Rosary. It's a great way for young children to start reading the Bible with their family. Our daughter loved it and it's now part of her bedtime reading!
